To HOSKO family members
Hello, I am Eunmee Song. How are you everyone? I am doing well. I am really sorry that it takes over a month to let you know about my life on the Sun Princess. In a nutshell, I am really happy now and doing well. It has been over a month since I joined the ship…The time is so fast here so I didn’t realize that I have been here over a month. I miss every member of HOSKO. I just let you know that how my life is going on here. Ship life is totally different from the life on the ground, but in a good way. I really enjoy it and the life is amazing. I love it. My position, Junior assistant cruise director, is a very good position here so I can have a lot of privileges. It makes me easy to get used to the ship life. My job is to host every game and show. And mingling with passengers is one of my jobs. My job is not that hard and I work only 4 or 5 hours a day. Since this ship is aimed at Japanese passengers, I usually translate English into Japanese. I am learning Japanese. I dance and sing every night. The rest of my time is totally free for me. My coworkers and boss are really friendly to me. They don’t want me to get stress about my work. I can have shore excursions every once in two days and it’s amazing. Everywhere is beautiful. I worried about food, air, water, etc. before I join the ship. Now everything is totally okay and good. Here we have a lot of Japanese crew members and passengers so I can learn Japanese culture. My roommate is a girl from the U.S. She is really cool and understands me a lot. She taught me a lot about this job and the U.S. culture. We hang around very well. I can’t wait to meet HOSKO family members. I will let you know again about my life on ship.
P.S. I will attach a photo that was taken in a disco night. They are my co-workers. Next time I will write about the ship life more specifically.

안녕하세요, 저는 송은미입니다. 모두 잘 지내고 계시죠? 저도 잘 지내고 있어요. 한 달이나 걸려 Sun Princess에서의 생활에 대해 알려드리게 되어 정말 죄송해요. 간단히 말해서, 저는 지금 잘 지내고 정말 행복합니다. 승선 이후 한 달 이상 여기에 있었던 것을 실감할 수 없을 정도로 시간이 빨리 지나갔어요. HOSKO의 모든 분들이 그리워요. 여기에서의 생활이 어떤지 알려 드릴게요. 선상 생활은 지상과 완전히 다르지만 좋아요. 저는 정말 그것을 즐기고 있고, 그 생활이 놀랍습니다. 저는 그것을 사랑해요. Junior assistant cruise director로서의 저의 위치는 여기에서 아주 좋은 위치이고, 그래서 많은 권한을 가질 수 있습니다. 그것은 선상 생활에 익숙해지는 것을 쉽게 만들어요. 저의 업무는 모든 게임과 쇼를 개최하는 것입니다. 그리고 승객과 잘 어울리는 것이 저의 업무 중 하나입니다. 저의 업무는 어려운 일이 아니고 하루에 4 ~ 5시간만 일을 합니다. 이 배는 일본 승객이 주를 이루기 때문에 저는 영어를 일본어로 번역합니다. 저는 일본어를 배우고 있어요. 저는 매일 밤 춤추고 노래합니다. 저의 나머지 시간은 완전히 자유로워요. 저의 동료와 상사들은 정말 친절합니다. 그들은 제가 업무에 대해 스트레스 받는 것을 원하지 않습니다. 저는 이틀에 한번 해안을 여행할 수 있으며 놀랍고 어디서나 아름다워요. 저는 승선하기 전에 음식, 공기, 물 등에 대해 걱정했었는데, 지금은 모든 것이 좋아요. 여기에는 일본의 승무원과 승객이 많이 있어서 저는 일본 문화에 대해 배울 수 있답니다. 미국에서 온 저의 룸메이트는 정말 쿨하고 저를 많이 이해해줍니다. 그녀는 나에게 업무와 미국 문화에 대해서도 많이 가르쳐 주었습니다. 우리는 아주 잘 지냅니다. 저는 HOSKO 가족 여러분을 만나는 것을 기다릴 수가 없답니다. 선상에서의 생활에 대해 다시 알려드릴게요.
